no voice input from bluetooth headset

hi
I have the latest firmware
Im trying to use voice control thru bt headset but in google app when click mic returns error "can't open microphone"
Headset pairs fine I can hear all the sounds from minix in headset.
I tried two different headsets jabra and plantronics same result.
In voice recorder app not receiving any sound from mic.
I have audio output from minix to receiver thru spdif.
tried audio output to usb on, off - same

Any solution?
Is there any setting where I can select sound...

Question regarding android games support

Hi,

I have the Minix X8H Plus and recently received the GameSir G3S controller.

After downloading a few games I wanted to play from the android store, such as FIFA 16 UT and NBA Live Mobile, I noticed that the games crash as soon as we are passed the logo screen, as if the device is intentionally doing this.

Is it true that this box is intentionally not supported for these games?

DTS HDMA finally working on X8H-plus

I finally found the magic upstart sequence on the MINIX X8H-pus to use DTS-HDMA and Dolby HD. It took a lot of testing, but I can now reproduce it so after a reboot of the box I'm still able to use HD sound. The VIDON that I'm using is the 1.4.2.1 version. So the 1 you get if you did start with the special version in topic on the VIDON.ME forum, but do the upgrade that it is telling every time you start VIDON.

As mentioned before, it only works with 24P. But, in my case, I had the MINIX...

Your answer in thread http://www.minixforum.com/threads/is-there-an-update-to-lolipop-or-no.14589/#post-113522 has me a bit worried. Do not misunderstand me, from a personal view I can totally relate to what you are saying. And I applaud all the work you are putting into realizing an update for us all. And you are probably right about the fact that current OS and Kodi Jarvis already can deliver all we need. However, your respond does not sound very professional....

hello, I flashed on my minix the finiest bob rom but now I wonna go back to the official firmware. I tried to use usb burning tool but the pc doesn't see the minix. i tried all the usb and several cable. coul'd it be becouse of TWRP? I have no idea on what to do. thank you

Cannot enter recovery mode

Hi,

I want to update to the latest firmware (fw010) via USB drive and I'm using this guide: http://www.minixforum.com/threads/x8-h-plus-updating-the-firmware-not-via-fota.8331/#post-71039

Current build number is: KOT49H.20141114 release-keys

When I try to boot into recovery mode, I just get a black screen.
I follow this:
a.) Press and hold the "Recover" button on the back of the case next to them HDMI port;
b.) While holding the "Recover" button, press the "Power" button to boot...

hi I was wondering what is the best firmware for the minix neo x8-H plus ? and also why after upgrading to FW10 cannot see the hdmi 4k resolution
option I only see other ones but not 4k . in the old FW dated 11/22/2014 was able to see those options .Note that my monitor resolution max is 1080p.

Hi, when set the X8 to any for the 4K setting it streams but it only uses about 25% of the screen (top left corner). has anyone had this happen to them. Will I need to upgrade HDMI cable or will be X8 not stream 4k full screen? John

I want to update my X8 with a SD-card to 009 but can only find the SD-update file for 007. Can someone point me to the correct link for the latest FW for the SD-method? (PS OTA doens't work).

PS If 010 is allready available than that is also OK :)

Video and music randomly stop themselves

Hello. For some time I have noticed that during playback of a movie or music a random pause is automatically triggered. This problem occurs on the official Kitkat and Lollipop beta. This includes streaming media (such as the YouTube app or the original browser) or from memory (such as MX Player).

Do any of you have this problem too?

Minix x8 H plus black screen

Hi please i need your help because i really dont know how to fix my boxs problem so i was streaming on kodi for hours every thing was fine suddenly my screen went black and everything i do wont get the screen to to work again (note.) (The box was very hot when the screen went black) When i try to power on the box my tv says there is a signal but the my screen is black i waited a full day and tryed again same result please help.

My device is up to date with latest original firmware. I can pair the headset but no I can't use TV audio and headset simultaneously. Please advise!

I really need it because my wife has some issue with TV audio e need headset. At same time I need to listen from TV...

Unknown Firmware ?!?

Hi,

I just bought a new MINIX X8H-PLUS. Its firmware (Build number) is "KOT49H.20160823 release-keys" with Android 4.4.2 and Kernel version is 3.10.33.
When I try to proceed with a system update, it tells me that my system is already up to date. But if I look in the official list of firmware, this one doesn't exist. Closest one would be the 009 (20160826) but there are still two newer versions.
Can someone help me on this please ?

JX8HPBOX Lollipop Firmware Update Problems

Hello,

I have been trying to update my MiniX #JX8HPBOX4615386 to the new android version Lollipop and everything goes fine in the USB Burning Tool. I reboot the MiniX and all I see is the MINIX logo with an Android with its hands in the air. Let it run for 8 hours and still same screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

I can always go back the to the official Firmware 11 and it works fine.

no sound on video

I went back to Android 4 on the minix x8 h + after trying Android 5 and the kodi kept crashing . Now I've installed a version of mygica on Android 4 But there is no sound while watching video. There is a system sound while switching on menus. Solution anyone?

I'm hoping to update the firmware on my NEO X8-H Plus. When in try to access the minixforum.com/downloads/ server to access the files it give me this message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /downloads/ on this server.

Apache/2 Server at minixforum.com Port 80

Anyone know why?
