Help for firmware upgrade

Hi all,
I need your help to upgrade my x8-h Plus.
I tried to upgrade via usb from stock to 007,006,003... but this is the error:
"this package is for neo x8-h plus devices; this is a x8_h"
My device is x8-h plus!!!

I also tried to flash with burning tool, updating ok but after it does not start.... freezeng on first minix screen.
Do you have any advice?

I'm using with great satisfaction this great product, I have a question about a curious behavior that I noticed with infinitytv.it (an italian streaming service). I already use another streaming service from Sky Italy (skyonline). When I watch a movie using skyonline the minix automatically switch refreshrate from 60Hz to 50Hz, and the video is very fluid. While when use infinitytv the resolution remains at 60hz and the video is very jerky, if i manually set tv refresh to 50hz it seems to...

Hello everyone.
Is it possible to add options to minix x8 hp, so he can send audio via USB audio player application pro to external dac? At this point I give the Matrix mini-i and Minix x8 hp does not recognize.
Eg. Samsung Galaxy S3 does not have a problem with it.

Dear All,

I got my new X8-H PLUS with default build number : KOT49H.20141122 release-keys, and tried to update to 007A, but it seems i neet to have a prerequest of 006A or 007.

Could able to get 006A.

Can anybody direct to 007 FW download link.

And we apologize for my English.

There is something I can not understand and nobody knows explain. How is it possible that the NEO PLUS X8 H can play 4K and not be able to play videos on youtube 4K, vimeo ,etc... ?.

Any phone with Android operating system (the same bearing the NEO X8) allows you to play content in all possible resolutions at youtube, vimeo or any website. independently, whether or not you can play on the phone. Because automatically adapts to the allowable...

X8h-Plus Audio Problem

A few days ago I bought a new device type X8-H Plus, which replaced an old BOXEE device.
The new device is connected to the Harman Kardon AVR171 in the same configuration as the previous BOXEE device.
The device is connected by HDMI cable to Harman Kardon AVR171 device that supports HD-DTS.
When I try to project movies from an external 1 TB USB storage I experience some problems.

When using the native 4K Video player there is no audio on some movies and no any audio at avi protocol.

[HELP] Update minix X8H-PLUS

I want to update my Minix Neo X8H-Plus, I already searched on this forum for the right way to do this, but for some reason i'm not sure if it's the right version etc.

So I hope someone can help me out with this.

I currently have Build nummer: KOT49H.20141114 installed.
My operation system is MacOS, and I only see windows software for burning an image to the minix.
Can someone please help me with this?

What do I need to download, and where, and how to install it on the box.

transfering media

my question is why in gods earth can you not transfer files to usb drive plugged in to i can see the files but just cant wright to it my question is and quote me its a media box so before someone its its becuase of andriod i have anther media box a laser brand and yes i can transfer files to it all day long with out pluging usb drive out and hooking to comptuer this other lasermedia-player
so my question is why not as one would have thought it would have been comon sence for that feature...

Why the Google search widget is always hidden? (video)

When minimizing an app (I'm using a Rii Mini i25 air mouse and classic stock launcher) a Google search bar widget is displayed briefly over the desktop, but it fades upwards fastly. And if I click over an empty desktop area, near to the upper right of the screen, then the Ok Google screen appears.
Why this behavior?

On my Minix X8-H Plus want to install Amazon Instant Video and getting it working.

Hello to everyone and thank you in advance for all suggestions about my issue!
I have a Minix NEO X8-H Plus updated to the latest official firmware. Since I have bought it, I never was able to wake up the device from sleep with a Logitech K400r keyboard. I'm able to put it in sleep mode with the power button on the keyboard, but no success when I try to wake up the device (pressing again power button or any other button on the keyboard), so I always have to go and press manually the power...

DTS HDMA finally working on X8H-plus

I finally found the magic upstart sequence on the MINIX X8H-pus to use DTS-HDMA and Dolby HD. It took a lot of testing, but I can now reproduce it so after a reboot of the box I'm still able to use HD sound. The VIDON that I'm using is the 1.4.2.1 version. So the 1 you get if you did start with the special version in topic on the VIDON.ME forum, but do the upgrade that it is telling every time you start VIDON.

As mentioned before, it only works with 24P. But, in my case, I had the MINIX...

hi
I have the latest firmware
Im trying to use voice control thru bt headset but in google app when click mic returns error "can't open microphone"
Headset pairs fine I can hear all the sounds from minix in headset.
I tried two different headsets jabra and plantronics same result.
In voice recorder app not receiving any sound from mic.
I have audio output from minix to receiver thru spdif.
tried audio output to usb on, off - same

Any solution?
Is there any setting where I can select sound...

Hi, sorry for my english.

I have minix x8-h plus connect to sony bdv n990w (hdmi in 1) and the receiver (hdmi out arc) connect to my tv samsung model 60un6300 (hdmi 2 arc). All connected and working, cec functions and arc ok.

xbmc/kodi set to send pass through ac3 and dts (confirmed via receiver display)
nothing changed in video settings

If Self-adaptive refresh rate switch OFF, i have playback 1080p@60hz e sound works 100% every time, but this way i have some lipsync issues; If...

screen size since last firmware update

Since I updated to the latest firmware my screensize keeps resetting itself. basically I have to set my screen to 92% in display to get the white lines and have all parts of screen showing. I then save this and use my minix, but every few days it I will notice that my clock is partially off screen and I have to go back and the display is at 100% again and I have to re-do the screen size. This has happened at least 10 times.

HAs anyone else had this problem and if so is there a resolution?
